Thanks DNC For Four More Years of Trump

Rip, skip, repeat - in case you haven’t noticed, the Democratic National Party (DNC) apparently hasn’t learned anything in regards to history.  It was only four years ago when Bernie Sanders, the wicked step child of the DNC, went toe to toe with Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination.  Hillary won the nomination, but not the presidential election.

During the election it became pretty apparent that the American people were fed up with the same ‘ole, same ‘ole.  After eight years of G.W., following eight years of Bill Clinton, not to mention the other George (Walker) Bush who sat as an American president previous to Clinton; shit wasn’t going to change with yet another Clinton.  And that is how and why Donald Trump became president of the United States of America.

And now, after a sorry start in the primaries, the DNC wants to shove sleepy ‘ole Joe Biden in our faces.   Never mind the other Democratic nominee who carries a heart full of momentum, as well as original proposals to the contemporary problems we face as a nation.  Oh, and did I mention, he’s played the Congressional game since 1991.

If Bernie Sanders is good enough for the Democratic Party as a Congressman and a Senator, then why isn’t he good enough as a U.S. President?

Common sense dictates that the majority of American citizens have no problem with health care that comes without the stress of financial hardship.  We all know that Universal Health Care is available in many other countries and that it works.

Logic would also prevail that the majority of American citizens would love to see the wealthy pay their share in taxes.  The past twenty years has certainly been good to the rich.  We all know this.  Bernie has money too, but even he understands how economics works.  You have to spread the wealth.  Otherwise, the rich become rulers and the poor become slaves; then the people revolt.

But of course, the rich are not restricted exclusively to Republicans, and Universal Health Care is not only going to shift the cost of health care to the government, it’ll pretty much be the end of individual health care system that is provided by the insurance institutions.  So out of fear that they’ll never have enough money, “they” throw words at us like, socialism.    “Bernie’s a socialist!” they yell.  And it’s not just Republican’s who like to use this scary word for, “human rights;” Bernie’s own party uses this word against him as well.

Elizabeth Warren just threw in the towel today, and she says she’s not backing Biden, as her predecessors have (including billionaire Mike Bloomberg), but she’s not backing Bernie either.

This is why I say, “Fuck the Democrats!”  Biden will not win.  Biden is no Hillary Clinton, and Trump will walk all over sleepy Joe.  Biden has nothing new to offer the people.  Trump on the other hand, as radical as it sounds, offers a new perspective; deviant as it may be.  American’s appear to be partial to the, “Fuck you” attitude of the Trump administration.   That is what gives Trump his power.

America is screaming for change; REAL change.  Don’t believe me?  Look at the up and coming Senators who have been elected to office.  Change is coming one way or another, and the sooner the DNC figures this out, the better for us all.

Bernie Sanders is change.  He wants to give the American people the common decency to be able to have access to doctors and medicine without worrying about losing their homes.  He wants to raise taxes on the rich to help pay for this free medical care.  “Oh what a bad guy - scary Bernie wants to put a smile back on America.”

If the DNC wants to put a winner in office, then they better take notice and support the candidate who can beat Trump, instead of standing against one of their own.

You're What?

When I was a kid my momma told me that I could be a good person, or I could be a bad girl.    The choice was mine.   But what’s good in one persons mind may not be so hot from another’s perspective.   Kind of like Democrats and Republicans - depending on which side you’re on, depends on who is good and who is bad, from an individual perspective that is.   Some of us hear the words Conservative or Republican and right away an image of some rich, stiff lip, gun toting, racist, bible thumpin’, white guy comes to mind.   And still, when others hear Liberal or Democrat the illusion flips to the brown, lazy, impoverished, free loading, gay, baby killer.   It would be comical, except there are quite a few of us who seriously prescribe to this silly way of classifying each other.    This classification of government representatives is a false façade to say the least anyway.   Like did you know it was actually George W. Bush who implemented...

What Is Said, by Hope Wabuke

The following was taken from the book, "All The Women In My Family Sing."  It was written by Hope Wabuke.                   On June 16, 1944, George Stinney, a fourteen year old Black boy, was executed by the state of South Carolina for the murder of two white girls.   George was so short that he carried a Bible to use as a booster seat for the electric chair.   He was so young that the death mask would not fit his face.   He took five full minutes to die, the mask slipping off to show his eyes melting and his body convulsing.               There was no evidence that George had committed the murders.   There were no actual witnesses to the murders – in fact, George had an alibi for the whole day in question.   The “confession,” which George denied having made and which had not been recorded or...

Why I Do Not Support Trump

“ I like my Presidents to not associate with foreign entities to better themselves. I also like them to not sit on the shitter tweeting in the middle of the night. I like them not to call Dictators his best friend and our allies our enemies. I like someone that can take criticism and not start name calling and throwing twitter melt downs every time he doesn't get his way. I like presidents that don't say they would date their daughter. I like Presidents that haven't filed bankruptcy 5 times and screwed over working class people doing it. I like Presidents that don't give themselves and their billionaire friends a windfall tax break and then cry about immigration now when it was happening and could have been handled under a fully GOP government for 2 years. I like Presidents that don't call war hero's weak. I like Presidents that don't speak ill of the deceased war veterans of this country. I like Presidents that didn't draft dodge.   Is that e...
